What is nervous-system chiropractic?

This kind of care looks at how well your body is communicating, not only where it hurts. A visit usually includes a checkup of how your spine and nerves are working, then a gentle adjustment meant to help that communication. Read the short explanation.

About Ashley

Hi! I am a Webster Technique trained prenatal and pediatric chiropractor and IBCLC in Scottsdale. I provide gentle, nervous system focused care for pregnancy, babies, and families at reluume. My work supports optimal function and comfort through low force techniques tailored to each stage of life.

I believe the body is designed to heal when the nervous system is functioning properly. Care should be specific, gentle, and centered on helping patients adapt and regulate rather than only addressing symptoms. At reluume, every visit is calm, explained, and focused on supporting moms, babies, and children in a way that feels safe and intentional.

Your First Visit

The first visit typically takes 45 to 60 minutes. Please bring any relevant medical history, notes about pregnancy or birth (for prenatal or pediatric patients), and a list of current concerns. Comfortable clothing is helpful. We begin with a detailed history covering pregnancy, birth, feeding, sleep, milestones, and your main goals. This is followed by a gentle head to toe assessment of posture, movement, muscle tone, and tension patterns. Adults also receive a surface EMG (sEMG) scan to measure muscle tension and nervous system activity. Adjustments are low force and specific, using instrument techniques and other gentle methods. For babies, care can be provided while held in your arms, on your chest, or resting on a pillow. Everything is explained, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and your child.
